Knowledge building could be viewed at different levels. First, it capacitates individuals to see the relevance of their work to the totality. Second, knowledge building facilitates codifying data, ideas and concepts together and making them available and accessible. Knowledge building is also the search for new ways of thinking that advance creativity – finding out what we do not know and making this available. Knowledge building then is finding answers to fundamental processes of enquiry.
